Thailand Tunnel project has recently completed the deployment and application of a point-to-point communication and control system. Once officially put into operation, the system established a stable and reliable real-time communication link between the surface control station and the operator cabin, significantly improving efficiency in personnel coordination and information exchange during tunneling operations.
Tunnel construction environments are often subject to severe challenges such as high noise, humidity, and strong electromagnetic interference, which can easily disrupt conventional communication methods. The point-to-point communication system deployed in this project demonstrated excellent anti-interference capability and long-term stability during on-site testing. Even under harsh conditions, it ensured clear voice and data transmission, providing a solid guarantee for safe and efficient construction.
The successful application of this system not only enhances the overall safety level of the TBM project but also further validates the practicality and reliability of industrial communication solutions in large-scale infrastructure construction. In addition, it creates a valuable reference case for future projects with similar requirements. As tunnel development and underground space utilization continue to expand, reliable communication systems will remain an indispensable factor in ensuring smooth project execution and safeguarding operational efficiency.
