J&R industrial intercoms, at the sugar refinery in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia

October 12, 2022

J&R Technology IP67/IK10 industrial walkie-talkie with the enhanced signal via beacons and exponential speakers, located in an industrial park in Saudi Arabia.

The sugar factory built by TSK is located in the King Fahd Industrial Port, one of the most important industrial ports on the Red Sea, in the town of Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. With a production capacity of 2,500 tons/day, it can meet most of the sugar demand in the Saudi market.

J&R Technologies intercom devices have an extremely high degree of protection (IP67) against contact, external media, and water, and are also protected against vandalism (IK10), making them ideal for industrial environments and harsh climates. They all use SIP compatible protocols and have a full keypad to call any number or pre-programmed numbers.

Depending on the needs of each location, these models are available with or without a door or feature a beacon that lights up when a call is received and an exponential speaker that rings up to 110 dB SPL, which also allows for public address functionality. Part of the equipment is located in the JR-TH-02 cabin, made of glass fiber reinforced polyester (GRP), designed for installation in corrosive industrial environments, to protect and insulate (up to 15 dB) the walkie-talkie.
